Italian charm bracelets come in only a few
different sizes. The most common is the “medium” size. It measures 3/8”
or 9mm wide. The "Larger" 5/8” wide charms exist for men’s bracelets or
women wanting a larger stronger looking bracelet.
If you decide to go with the "medium"
sized charm links use our guide below. Most Italian starter bracelets
come with 14 plain links. But the average woman will need about 18 links
to complete a bracelet.
Sizing an Italian charm bracelet is easy.
Simply measure your wrist where you will be wearing your bracelet. Base
bracelets are 14 links long, and you may add or subtract links as
needed.
Toddler: 13 links, 5 inches in length
Child: 14 links, 5 1/4 inches in length
Youth: 15 links, 5 3/4 inches in length
Petite: 16 links, 6 1/4 inches in length
Small: 17 links, 6 1/2 inches in length
Medium: 18 links, 7 inches in length
Large: 19 links, 7 1/4 inches in length
Extra Large: 20 links, 7 3/4 inches in length
Long: 21 links, 8 inches in length
If you need to change the size it
will be no problem. Italian Charm bracelets are completely adjustable so
you can add or subtract links as needed.
If you are buying loose charms to add to an existing bracelet purchased
somewhere else, check to see which size charm they are selling. The
standard is a "medium" and what most stores sell. If it is not a normal
medium the store will say Large or this is a Small.
